Title: Scalable architectures in superconducting circuits & careers in quantum

In this talk I will detail some common approaches to superconducting circuits, how they tackle scaling to higher qubit numbers and how OQC approaches this challenge with its coaxmon design. Additionally I will give some insight into different career options in the quantum landscape with an aim to highlight the variety of skill-sets needed to tackle challenges in quantum computing.
