Jens Martin Knudsen was the man who linked Denmark to NASA and international Mars research in the 1990s through participation in the Mars Pathfinder and Mars Exploration Rover missions. At the same time, Jens Martin Knudsen was an excellent communicator who made physics a very living subject for students and people around him.
