Title: Properties of nearly trivial scattering amplitudes

Abstract: On-shell three-point scattering amplitudes in many QFTs are fixed by symmetries. Four-point on-shell amplitudes in these QFTs are powerfully constrained by fundamentally important physical principles such as locality, unitarity, and (in some cases) causality. In this journal club, I will review extant work  on these nearly trivial amplitudes, on both the construction of three-point amplitudes and on constraints on four-point amplitudes from these consistency conditions.
