Title: Exploring the function space of Feynman integrals

Abstract:

The computation of Feynman integrals is needed for precision measurements in particle physics. In this talk I will first review our current understanding of these Feynman integrals which we know to calculate. I will discuss to which class of functions they evaluate and algorithms
to express them in terms of this class of functions.
This class of functions are the multiple polylogarithms.
In the second part I will describe efforts to explore the terra incognita, i.e. Feynman integrals which cannot be expressed in terms of multiple polylogarithms. Here we encounter elliptic generalisations of multiple polylogarithms and modular forms.
