Michele Burrello joined NBI in 2016 as assistant professor in Condensed Matter Theory.
He is part of the Condensed Matter Theory group (CMT), the Center for Quantum Devices (QDev) and the Niels Bohr International Academy (NBIA).
In 2019 he was awarded a Villum Young Investigator grant.
His main research interests are in the field of quantum many-body physics, topological phases of matter and quantum simulation.
