Two-point functions in defect versions of N = 4 super Yang Mills theory

We present our findings for the computations of various two-point functions, in certain defect versions of N=4 super Yang Mills theory. We focus first on two-point functions with SO(3)xSO(3) symmetric vevs, between chiral primary operators. We also study two-point functions between short scalar operators and Bethe state operators, also with SO(3)xSO(3) symmetric vevs. Furthermore, the defect theories in question can be obtained by insertion of a D7 probe-brane, with different geometries, into the standard D3 brane configuration of AdS/CFT. Our computations thus constitute the first step towards a very non-trivial check of the AdS/CFT correspondence.
