Seminar by prof. Kell Mortensen

Kell received the 2019-Walter Hälg prize as the Neutron Societies’ recognition of his many years of activities in neutron sciences, including novel scientific results, instrumentation and neutron policy.

In the seminar, Kell will review some highlights from the many years using neutrons as the main tool. The sciences include studies of superconductors, as investigated through the magnetic flux-line lattice, polymer phase behavior and critical phenomena, the physics of biological membranes, polymer and surfactants self-assembly and the dynamics of complex polymer melts and gels.
