Missions
We are an experimental group and our research is centred on the magnetic properties experiments that we design, build, test and calibrate for lander missions to Mars.
Our group has or has had magnetic experiments onboard the following missions:
We are currently planning an experiment for the first European lander mission to Mars, ExoMars.
The Viking Landers also had permanent magnets onboard, which means that all successful lander missions to Mars so far have had magnetic properties experiments onboard.
