| A section of the vacuum setup is reused from an earlier Rubidium MOT experiment, and this is how it looked when we took over. In the front you can see the loading MOT chamber followed by the differential pumping tube. The supplies for the pumps and the vacuum gauge indicate a pressure of several 10-11 mbar. Cross your fingers, that this will last... |
