telescope The Instrument development group work in an international environment, constructing instruments for astronomical telescopes. We are situated at the Rockefeller Complex where we design and construct advanced devices as spectographs, adaptors and CCD-camera controllers.
    Current Activities
  • Design and Construction of the single-slit spectograph X-shooter.
  • Next generation CCD controller is being developed.
  • Design and Construction of wide-field auto-guiders.
We are cooperating with:
 IDA - Instrumentcenter for Danish Astrophysics
The instrumentcentre was inagurated in March 2004. The purpose of IDA is to support both groundbased and spacebased observational research. IDA support Ph.D.-students and researchers in their observational work.
