Ordering books and journals

If you need books for study purposes, which we do not have here at the Niels Bohr Institute Library, we will try to obtain them for you from other libraries in Denmark or abroad.

You must be registered as a user at the Royal Library in order to use this service and the books must be collected and returned to the Niels Bohr Institute Library. The lending period is 1 month. Occasionally it is possible to extend the loan.

We would like to remind you that you are responsible for the books we lend you. You will receive an email from us when the books should be returned. If you do not return the books we reserve the right to send a bill for the books we have lent you.

How to borrow from other libraries

• First check whether the title is in REX >>
• If you find the title you can either order it yourself or ask the Niels Bohr Institute library to order it for you.
• If you do not find it in REX you can order it through Order article or Order book >>
• Alternatively you can try http://bibliotek.dk/?lingo=eng

Be aware that you cannot order books to be picked up at NBI's library.
