Hydrogen storage materials investigated by in situ small angle X-ray scattering and wide angle X-ray scattering

The implementation of a hydrogen society have many advantages, e.g. the re-duction of greenhouse gas emission, however a major issue with implementing ahydrogen society isthelack ofgoodhydrogen storage materials. Theindirect storage of hydrogen as ammonia in Mg(NH3)6Cl2has shown impressive capac-ity and reversibility. With emphasis on the decomposition Mg(NH3)6Cl2the combined insitusmall angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and wide angle X-ray scattering (WAXS) setups possibilities will be discussed.

The defense will take place on Monday the 8th of June at 13:15 in D411. The talk will be in Danish, however all slides will be in English and the final discussion will be in both Danish and English.
