Specialeforsvar af Linus Riel Petersen

In my master thesis I have used two online tools (VOSA and the SED Fitter) to analyse data from online databases (UKIDSS and 2MASS) in order to see whether or not young disks could be found. During this I also evaluated the usefulness of the tools.

The evaluation and comparison between the two tools was done with data from 4 stars in Taurus with unprecedented precise parallaxes found via VLBA
(Loinard and Torres 2007, 2008 and 2009).

The comparison of those results with literature shows some inconsistencies which might be corrected with more data at longer wavelength.
